Fifty-five members of the Arcatao community joined in the celebration, including these young dancers. The offertory included graduates who benefited from the Beca program, including (left) Delmi Ayala, a family lawyer, and (right) Carmen Gochez, a nurse. Beca (scholarship) students participated with a dance during the Mass. Women from the villages cooked the delicious meal that was served. With collaboration by 17 communities, lunch was served to 550 to 600 people. Musical entertainment was provided by the Choro Providencia, led by Sr. Marcia Gatica. Sister Vilma Franco (right) carried a photo of Madre Emilia (Blessed Emilie Gamelin) in the offertory, accompanied by Myra, a member of the San Marcos community.
