Sisters of Providence serving throughout the Mother Joseph region came together alongside Providence Associates and Companions for their annual Community Days summit in mid-July.
The theme of this year’s meeting was “Pilgrimage to Oneness in a Global Community,” and started with an invigorating retreat day that included a group drumming exercise. The three-day meeting featured interactive sessions with the Mother Joseph Local Community Leaders, Providence St. Joseph Health President & CEO Erik Wexler, the Providence Associates and its president Kathe Boucha, and theAdministrative Leadership Team.
The Congregational Leadership Team also traveled from Montreal to attend and hosted a panel.
Mary Anne Sladich-Lantz served as moderator of Community Days for a second consecutive year, and guided a productive and motivating week as the Sisters discerned their community’s voice and strategies in response to vital ongoing issues in their communities and throughout the world.
