University of Providence students, faculty and staff took part in an evening vigil honoring victims of domestic violence. The student-led event was in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Those gathered heard from victims of violence, their families, campus ministers and representatives from community organizations that support victims.

During the same visit, core group member, Sr. Hong Nga Nguyen, SP, helped unveil a team building artwork project completed by faculty and staff of the University. The artwork, which highlights the University’s heritage and the Sisters’ commitment to humility, simplicity and charity, will be placed in the student life building.
