Sister Rose Marie Dillman, an integral part of Kennedy High School in Seattle since 1968, has been honored with the establishment of The Dillman Center that will be used by students, faculty, alumni and parent groups.
Sister Rose Marie taught in the religion department, originated and chaired the counseling department and served in many administrative positions.
Although she retired from teaching in 1995, she still is a daily presence at the school and is the official #1 fan at all Kennedy athletic events.
More than $125,000 was raised for The Dillman Center as this year?s Fund-an-Item at the 36th annual KATCH Auction on April 25-26. All money raised above the cost of the center?s construction will go towards the Sister Rose Marie Dillman Scholarship.
