Sisters of Providence offer Vocation Service Day in Seattle

Women age 20 to 40 are invited to participate in a Vocation Service Day with the Sisters of Providence in Seattle on Saturday, December 29. The day is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Joseph Residence, 4800 37th Avenue SW.

Vocation Service Day will begin with a reflection on service and how it fits with the Sisters of Providence community, followed by a hands-on service experience at Providence Hospitality House.

The shelter for homeless women and children in crisis was founded by the religious community in 1979. Activities at the shelter will include caring for the children, cleaning and serving a meal.
