At the invitation of Sacred Heart Radio, Catholic Radio for the Northwest (AM 970 in the greater Spokane area), Sisters of Providence are participating in a series of 5-minute radio interviews.
The first program, on Nov. 4, was an interview with Marilyn Thordarson, Betty Harrington and Sister Pam White about Living the Legacy: A History of Sacred Heart School of Nursing.
Other interviews scheduled through the end of the year are:
- Nov. 18 – Sister Rosalie Locati, on her ministry at Sacred Heart Medical Center
- Dec. 2 – Provincial Councilor Charlotte Van Dyke, SP, on ministries to women and children in need
- Dec. 16 Sr. JoAnn Showalter, on reclaiming the Earth
- Dec. 30 Sr. Barbara Schamber, on writing the history of the community for future generations.
